Pittsburgh Post-Gazette -- A medical strike team is making house calls in Waveland, Miss., or at least the nearest thing to house calls in a coastal city where Hurricane Katrina flattened most houses.

HOUSTON, Texas -- One of America's most respected experts on traumatized and maltreated children is sounding the alarm for the "Children of Katrina," and Dr. Bruce Perry, Texas Children's Hospital, wants parents, first-responders and government leaders to rally to the call.

HOUSTON, Texas -- Many of the youngest survivors of Hurricane Katrina were already frail and vulnerable with illness before the storm hit. Nearly three dozen children from New Orleans are being treated at Texas Children's Hospital for everything from leukemia to cystic fibrosis.
