Compliance at CHCA
CHCA is dedicated to promoting a culture of ethics and integrity among its Owner Hospitals, staff, contractors and Directors. To facilitate clear communication of expectations and business conduct, CHCA maintains its business Code of Conduct as part of its comprehensive Ethics and Compliance Program. The Code includes the following key elements:
- Standards of Business Conduct
- Policies and Procedures that Supplement the Code and Compliance Program (verified by regular internal reviews)
- Confidential Communications Channel to Ask Questions and Report Compliance Concerns (e.g., the Compliance Hotline)
- Regular Compliance Training
The Compliance Hotline is managed for CHCA by ComplianceLine, an independent third party. Both CHCA’s Compliance Program and Code reflect standards established by the Health Industry Group Purchasing Association and the Healthcare Group Purchasing Industry Initiative (HGPII) Principles and Code of Conduct.
